Knowsley Harriers AC has a strong road running member base and to reflect this we operate an annual road running championship. In each race distance, every member will be given a score based upon their finishing position against other performances by members of Knowsley Harriers AC. The format has changed for 2021 due to the disruption of races.

  • We are using a scoring system to make ‘all races equal’. The fastest time submitted will score 40 points, the second member receives 39 points, and so on.
  • All members finishing will score at least 1 point.
  • It is your best 4 distances that count during the year (you cannot submit 2 times for the same distance). Due to risks of injury etc. we would not expect our members to participate in every distance.
  • When you enter a race, please use β€œKnowsley Harriers AC” as club name, this makes it easier to verify results.
  • Second claim members are not included in the club championship.
  • The overall winners in the male and female categories plus Vet categories will be announced and awarded at the Christmas ceremony.
  • Age categories are determined by age as of 1 January 2020.
  • Members must have completed a minimum of 4 distances to qualify for a category prize.
  • The race must have a race licence, and therefore appear on the Power Of 10 website.
  • Races must be ran between 01/01/2021 and 30/11/21.

The distances included in the road running championship for 2021 are as follows:

  • 5km
  • 5 miles
  • 10km
  • 10 miles
  • Half Marathon
  • 20 miles
  • Marathon

RESULTS: You will be asked to submit your results at the end of the season via an online survey form.Β
